Week 4, Term 2, 2018

We had a great time at cross country this week! All the children tried their best and showed great energy and enthusiasm on the day. We can all be so proud of their efforts! Here is a photo of them waiting for their turn to run...

We really enjoy painting in Room 2, we are getting very confident in mixing primary colours to make secondary colours. The children are so careful with their brushes and create beautiful work, here they are painting cardboard frames...

We are still deciding what to put in the frames... maybe a photo, or a drawing... to be confirmed!

Buddy time is sure to be a highlight of the week!

Hello to all the students and families of Room 2!

We have had a wonderful beginning to term 2 with our days full of many interesting learning activities, stories and play opportunities. A highlight on Friday was meeting our buddy class for the year - Room 10! Room 10 has Year 3 and Year 4 students who are taught by the lovely Miss McLean. The students got to know one another and we are all looking forward to catching up every Friday. The older children are going to keep an eye out for their new young friends on the playground, and this will certainly help the new entrants settle into the business of school life.
